Here'syour chance to find out what it really takes to pass the Uniform CPA Exam froma panel of recent exam passers, including Andrew Napolitano, a 2012 AICPAElijah Watt Sells Award and CalCPA John F. Forbes Award winner. Panelists willdiscuss topics such as designing a study plan, selecting an exam prep provider,creating a support system, managing other time commitments and their real-lifestudying and exam experiences.

Recentlypassed legislation and regulatory changes will significantly transform theeducational requirements for obtaining a California CPA license. BeginningJanuary 1, 2014, applicants for CPA licensure must document completion of abaccalaureate degree or higher with a minimum of 150 semester units, including24 semester units each in accounting and business-related subjects, 20 units ofaccounting study, and 10 units of ethics education. Pepperdine’s new Master ofScience in Accounting degree will ensure accounting and economic majors meetthe new requirements. Classes begin August 2013.
