答案是E
问题1：为什么C中的it可以省略，我记得如果是, and的话，前后两句的句子都要完整呀。为什么,but 后面的主语就可以省略呢。
问题2：E的解释是说什么主动表被动。。。这个不理解
问题3：这个prove是主动发出的么，我怎么感觉应该是被prove的意思

Become和prove并列，I play football and i read books.第二个I是不是wordy？
prove在这里是终止性动词，意思为turn out to be,相当于系动词，系动词没有被动形式。

而且c中的its paying的用法不好，paying本身就可以表达意思了。

THX~~~但我还有一个疑问是：这个句子的结构是become xxx, but prove xxx.跟另个句子become xxx but prove xxx有什么区别吗。就是这里的,的存在产生了什么影响

我觉得对逻辑意思的理解无影响，不碍事，加comma也只是为了句式结构更清晰，理解方便；
可能是你研究太深入了，不过我感觉这个时候就得跳出来看看。深入要能浅出，记得某个大nn说的——大道至简，我们得慢慢体会啊

but的用法同and一样，这里加了逗号以后，后面句子无主语了啊。。。我就碰到过插入语或者举例的情况，一定要是这个结构：“......，and+主谓宾”。所以我觉得这里正确答案有问题。

这里加不加逗号，我觉得还是有一些区别的，就是加了逗号以后，后面falling那个短语就是修饰but后面这个部分的，而不是整个句子了。
但是，还是不能理解“，but”后没主语啊。。。。。。

我刚才做了一些功课，其实最终的结论也是感觉无comma也不影响句子逻辑意思；（句子虽然长，但能够清晰地判断出两个并列的动词）
1.but是一个连词，连接前后两个句子，当句子比较长时就需要comma隔开（短句可以不用）；具体参考http://www.grammarbook.com/punctuation/commas.asp 第12条；不过这种情况下but后面应该是完整的句子，貌似正确答案缺少主语？
2.刚在manhattan上看了下Ron的解释，说是comma有时候也用于but连接比从句小的成分；具体参考http://www.manhattangmat.com/forums/after-several-years-of-rapid-growth-t5788.html 倒数第三楼；这个貌似和连词的功能相悖？

真是有够纠结的！这里要是不知道fall behind的用法，真的会选A的。
