曼哈顿上一道关于比较的句子

在比较这一章节里面，看到这么一句句子 I will have higher bills than last year.
我觉得这句句子比较不对等诶，变成了 bills 和 last year相比了。  如果句子变成 i will have higher bills  future  than last year. 我觉得就对等了，就是future和 last year比较了。

那曼哈顿的这句句子为什么会是对的呢？？

1）个人觉得will 和future，意思上重复了
2）将来和过去进行对比，补全应该是I will have higher bills than ( I had ) last year.

future只是举个例子。。。。我的意思就是last year 和 bill不能比较，比较不对等

答案是E，
我觉得如果这题答案是D的话就和曼哈顿的这句句子是一样的本质了，就是比较不对等！

然后把。。我又找到了一句我以前记录过得话

They do 不可省！因为前面没有出现和now比较的状语。若省略，会变成knowledge和now比较

明白你的疑惑了。囧，深究下去，我也迷糊了。
A more than B；more A than B；
A和B的位置在more than会不会省略的部分不一样呢？

忽然有这么个想法，你看看，
1）bills那个比较的话，是时态之间的比较
2）后来举的那个句子，不是时态间的比较，而是虚拟语气与非虚拟语气（称呼得有点怪）的比较，所以要补出来呢？
