JD Program Fees
Fees for the JD program are approved by the Governing Council of the University and consist of academic fees (including instruction and library) and incidental fees (including campus fees; student society fees; health insurance and dental plan; athletic fees; student system access fees).
Tuition fees for upper-year students for 2013-2014 academic year have been set at $27,460* for second-year students and $26,442* for third-year students (excluding incidental/ancillary fees). Please note, once a student is in the JD Program, the second and third year tuition fees will not rise by more than 5%.

International Student Fees
In accordance with the recommendations of the Government of Ontario, certain categories of students who are neither Canadian citizens nor permanent residents are charged higher academic fees.
International tuition fees for upper-year students for the 2013-2014 academic year have been set at $37,779* (excluding incidental/ancillary fees). International students are also required to pay a mandatory University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP) premium of $756.

Tuition & Fees
Tuition for the LLM and PhD programs follows the same tuition as for most other graduate programs at York University. These fees are set by the University every year. Current fee rates should always be checked on the Student Financial Services – Course and Program Fees page – choose “Graduate Studies” in the “Graduate” list.
Students in the Graduate Program in Law must register and pay tuition for all three York University terms: fall, winter, summer until completion of the program. Each student must pay a minimum amount of tuition as follows:
LLM and LLM-MRP students: 3 terms (one year) of full-time fees or their equivalent
PhD students: 6 terms (two years) of full-time fees or their equivalent
