Hi my friend, and thanks for your question. Both IIT and NYU-Poly have good programs for financial engineering. In terms of job hunting for work after you graduate, I’d vote for NYU-poly. The ideal career for financial engineering students is a quantitative analyst, and New York City has the most opportunities in this field. Chicago is more focused on trading, which has a comparatively smaller demand for quantitative students. Also, NYU-Poly students can take advantage of the career servicesonthe NYU main campus, which is truly a great resource. Overall, if your goal after graduation is to land a job in the States, NYU-Poly will give you a much better chance. Hope this helps!
