3-  3:13

4- 2:36
but the house republicans also deserve supports for the reason that they remove the treat of government's shutdowns by raising the debt-ceiling.

5- 2:08
the budge is a return to the crisis-free budgeting process. and it's only the 1st step of this process and the subsequent procedures will ensure the eventual success

6- 11:23

The passage introduces a film about 2 girls friendship during the cold war.      到底是什么故事真的没看懂TT…单词量太小伤不起TT…

2 - 02:49
This passage is about another film by another director. This film won big prize because of the satire it expresses. In this film, the process of a man who is at first reluctant to go for an audition, then is eager for the role, and finally desperate for the show. The actor of the hero also has an interesting background. He used to be in prison, and was spotted because of his talent. And he is more than just acting in the film.
(I think this is a movie review...)

3 - 01:47
Ryan, Romney's former running mate promoted his new budget plan on behalf of the Republican. But this plan received a lot of criticize. The most ironic thing is that the flaws in the plan are almost the same as those the Republican criticized in the election. And some people say that, the so-called "new" plan is not new enough.

4 - 01:36

5 - 01:31
Despite the drawbacks, the Republicans still deserve cheers.…看不懂…TT……finance白学了啊TT……有特色文化/学科背景的东西看起来还是费力气TT

6 - 08:43
One of the main dishes on St. Patrick's Day is corned beef, but people in Ireland seldom have this tradition. The passage tells the reason why. Cattle used to be sacred in Ireland, and only the wealthy people/ the king have the privilege to have some beef on festivals. Irish people only ate cattle that are too old to work, and beef was very expensive. They usually ate pork (the writer also shows a poem to support this claim). But after the British, who are fond of having beef, conquered Ireland, the Irish began to produce beef. There were also two acts aimed at marketing the beef. But the Irish themselves could not afford it. …然后怎么就到美国了,然后价格跟着供给量的大小起起伏伏什么的…The Irish people have something in common with the Jew ( They both were oppressed, they both love art, etc.)……The Irish people view St. Patrick's Day as a day for family, and they banned pubs on that day. But recently the banned is canceled due to the development of tourism.

今天越障好长……前面看着看着还觉得挺有意思的……看到后面都疯了完全读不进去……TT

Some people think the budget is not considering the president election in 2012.
And also the budget here is far from the right one in the US history.

A traditional festival of Irish has a food called corned beef, but the food is not like what irish people used to eat in ancient time.
Irish people do not eat beef, but much prefer drink the milk, only very rich will eat beef in some festival.
a poem write by irish also prove that irish people do not eat beef at that time.
but irish make a contract with England, they export the beef to England. but irish still do not eat beef at all.
The major food of irish people is potato. But the Great Famine begin and result the irish people either starve to death or immigrate to another country.
The immigrator to US at first live in a poor life and can not eat beef, but with the time goes by, the irish people can eat beef in US, but the beef (is corn beef).
And in the festival, what irish people eat is the traditional food of jewish people, but not irish.
jewish and irish immigrator are good friends......
some tip about the festival tradition...

There is a movie about two girls during War II. Usually girls and their mothers will become good friends, but the two girls does like their mother. However, a girl has good relationship two gay goldfathers.
2.2-34
The director made two movies, which won prizes. However, the director uses the one of the two moives to reflect the thoughts inside his heart, making it hard for audience to understand the subtle ideas. Luckily, the 40 years old actor did well in the movie, so audience can enjoy this film.
3.1-39
R has declared that new cuts in some programs, leading some criticisms. The Republic Party used the medicare cuts to refute Obama.
4.1-53
Actually the Republic members have done something good for the country. Although some fiscal crisises are expected to happen, there are no such crisises after the sequester.
5.1-54
The author thinks that the cut proposed by R is not so much worse, because the cut forced by Republic Party makes something good for the economy.
6.10-46
Why Irish people eat cabbage, corned beef and potato in P's Day. At the begining, people in Irland seldomly ate beef, while they use the cows to cultivate the crops and consider cows scared. Only are cows eaten, when they are too old to work. However, after the British captured the Irland, cows became the dietary food for many people, because the British eat beef since the Rome's armies. Besides, those Birtish not only ate beef as much as possible, but also brought potatoes, which gradually changed the diet of Irish. Because the salts are very cheaper in Irland, compared to those in England, people can buy very good salts in Irland with inexpensive prices. So people begin to make corned beef. During the time when wars were widespread, the demands of corned beef were very large, because the corned beef could be stored long in boats. However, the demand was so large that Irish could not have enough food to eat. When the Great Famine occured, a large number of Irish died so that now the population cannot reah it was previously. Some Irish came to New York, and they made enough money to live. They also ate corned beef, but this corned beef is not like the previous Irish corned beef. This beef are Jewish corned beef, made of different materials. Then people like to eat corned beef, cabbage, and potatoes in the P's Day.
