I assume you come here because you want to become a billionaire. If u just wanna be an above average person, you don't need to work hard at all. No need for MIT, or Columbia, or banking, trading, PE, HF... Go to China Development Bank and your lifestyle will be great. It is true that most people in MIT and Columbia ends up becoming nobody, but if you hold an attitude of taking risk, being hungry for excellence, and willing to change the world, the possibility of becoming someone will become much larger, probably from 1% to...10%~~~

好吧....我只是想有个体面地收入是中上等比如一百万RMB，有一定社会地位就行...没想过大富大贵billionare.......照这么说，做market maker，risk manager或者行业分析师做到一定等级都可以无风险的达到这个水平吧...？

不是所有人都愿意承担风险....

C'mon u r from PKU, which means top 1% in China.
Top 1%= top 13,000,000 in China=top 1,625,000 in your age = nobody
You don't need to do anything to maintain your rank in top1%.
