我翻到了以前的例子。。
我选错了。

因为Recent indications of weakness in the economy have led consumers to be more conservative with their purchases，所以(as a result)so depressed have sales figures been.

我理解成 因为o depressed have sales figures been ，所以政府要刺激消费。

这个题是个小trick，绕进去了。that 不是指代result ，是跟上面的So 衔接的。

看后面牛牛们的解释。。。

是A，刚被某牛点醒了~
因为原文的因果关系是 消费者变保守→as a result→sales figures很难看。
而E把as a result提到政府的前面，改变了原意，变成了消费者变保守，且销售数据很难看，as a result,政府要怎样怎样。。。
