我觉得E的并列成分不是不一样的吗
为什么C的for  就不可以了呢

和……for decreasing 有什么区别？

可是我不觉得A有歧义啊，总不可能是女的去marry女的吧

160、这里强调是动作，所以要用reducing,；for decreasing不符合习惯而且不如to decrease 简洁；
172、意思会改变，因为first修饰对象变了，aired first强吊被广播的第一次（在哪里？）；
171、因为so as前面出现了2个人名，所以无法判断谁is to marry；不能用常识解题，要找题目得error;

我认为A倒不见得不对，只是和D比没有D好。gmat不是要选出5个选项中最好的吗？
so ...as to 要求结果状语的主语与主句的主语一致，这道题主语没问题。但是so...as to仅用于简单的系表结构中而且对于它的位置要求也比较麻烦要求尽可能的就近修饰。
新东方的原则有一个是so..that..要比so ..as to 优先考虑。所以有了更优的就选这个更优的。

我所理解的句子的逻辑意思：应该是根据句意推出的唯一的、最为合理的句子各成分间的逻辑关系；
就你举的这个例子来说：
1、从Prompted by new evidence...可以看出，它是过去分词短语作状语修饰它的句子主语，由于过分表被动，则如果主句谓语还用被动语态的话是不合逻辑，如A、B,所以错，
所以答案要从其他3个用了主动语态的选项找；
2、你说：下面这个题，判断出prompted是authorities而不是property owners才好做题。
    我觉得2者都有可能被prompted, 逻辑关系不是唯一的，到底选谁要看句意的发展而定，由句意来确定主语，如果A、B的the property owners用主动语态也可以是答案：
比如，Prompted by the new evidence that...., the property owners urged the authorities to test all dwellings below the third floor for radon gas and to make repairsas needed.
3、而这个例子：171. In 1527 King Henry VIII sought to have his marriage to Queen Catherine annulled so as to marry Anne Boleyn.
其中出现2个人名，在没有identify的情况下，2者都有可能marry Anne Boleyn,所以逻辑关系不是唯一的，因此解题的过程就是要消除这种不确定性:make the original sense of the sentence unambiguouly,所以跟你举的例子是不一样的；
