别问实习了！现在全世界就业市场就内样。你别指望上个小说就能躺着进buyside 进大IB。
你要是来了踏踏实实的好好努力，自然有实习。你指望挂个牌子进行业。这个行业的每个公司的每个人都猴精。就算你挂了MIT牌子，你是水货也没人要你。

还有UR MSF 和 UW CFRM 根本不是一个东西。你申的时候都没想清楚，干嘛要申。你都能拿到这两个学校的offer 了还没能力判断么？

楼上的前辈不要激动，虽然我知道金工和金融学的东西差距很大，但是我的出发点是比较国内就业。至于学什么，只要就业确实好一大截，学难一点也无所谓。但你知道金工的岗位在国内或许根本轮不到我们，即使学了金工也许回来还是按金融来找工作。所以我更看重出国阶段实习给简历带来的附加值。这就是我为什么真么关心这个项目找实习的情况。请您理解。
另外这个投票。。这个压倒性优势是建立在大家对这个新项目的了解之上么。

你真天真！
你要是一路都是QF出生，你的知识和技能不足以支持你去做IBD的活，连PE和VC活你都做不下来。因为他们的方法和Quant fin的方法完全不是一类。所以你这些字的前半段就有问题。
国内的情况建议你在了解下
出来上学的目的，不单单是给你的简历上加个什么东西。可以说，这个年代出国上个什么学校给你的简历填不了什么光环。别说你在美国实习不好找，就算找到了，一个小小的实习也给你的简历加不了多少的色彩。
如果你单凭想出来溜一圈给你镀个金再回去，我觉得你还是好好重新审视下你的定位把。如果你不爱将要学的东西，你会在这里的一年半到两年的时间里很疼苦的。并且也不会达到你所设想的。


你还是踏踏实实评估下哪个是你喜欢，哪个项目能够给你带来你想要的知识，你凭借着哪个项目的资源能够给你提供比别人更强技能，获取更多的机会吧。


指望依靠哪个项目送给你一个实习，或者依靠哪个人送你一个实习，给你的简历镀上一层金。这样的事情基本不可能发生。

给大家分享一些信息，是小米的一手资料。希望对申请这个项目的同学有帮助~
1. I want to know the expected class size of the 2013FALL program. If the number of full-time students is still 20~30？[Laurie: Yes, that is still the expected class size.]

2. I want to know more details about the internships for the program. Are the internships provided by the program or found by ourselves? Which companies will recruit us? [Laurie: Our Program Manager Bill Anderson is in a dedicated position to help our students find jobs and internships. We also have provided a Career Bootcamp in the past, and attend local seminars and conferences
with our students to build relationships with local finance industry professionals. While the program makes every effort to assist, the student has to do well in the interview in order to be offered an internship or job. Companies that have recruited in the past include Russell Investments, Bill Gates Investments, Federal Home Loan Bank, Texas State Employees Retirement System, DV Trading in Chicago, and OneWest Bank. We are in communication with BlackRock and Goldman Sachs, and our extended internship options have received positive response.]


3.What if we fail to find the internship?
Thank you for your email. The program makes it a large focus to help with job and internship placement (our Program Manager, Bill Anderson, is heavily involved in doing so). Of course, there is so much the Department can do as it is up to the student to interview and actually accept the internship. Last year I think all but one student received an internship and that was because he was offered a position as a Research Assistant with our Program Director. If a student wasn't able to find an extended internship, there are a few possibilities:
-hold several shorter internships over the 9 month timeframe
-convert to the 'general' program and graduate after reaching 42 credits
-depending on the student a TA or RA position may be available

As you can see there are several options, and the program will make every possible effort to help you obtain an internship if that is the route you want to take.

4.When will the course be taken?

As far as your second question, each quarter the times of the classes differ. However, the courses are typically offered anywhere from 11am-8pm.

理解LS 的想法，我们学习的目的不就是为了就业嘛~~看看什么项目以后比较好找工作，才去学它，这个很正常。但是可能这个工作需要自己去完成，看看自己想要的工作需要什么技能，自己缺什么技能，这个项目能不能给我，就知道什么适合我了。每个人都是special的，每个人适合的不一样，这样的选择一定是主观的。看了CD上一些纠结选校的帖子，我觉得其实LZ们把各个学校的优缺点和自己需要学的东西列出来，自己心理就有了结论了，其实不太用大家来出主意的。
