求建议！ NUS MFE VS UIUC MSFE

LZ现在手头有三个AD，保底的那个就不提了。

主要是想先在国外工作几年，已经搜了帖看了之前的介绍，但对两所学校的就业情况仍然没有太明确的认识。

另外经济方面，学费加上生活费，UIUC大概45万的样子（？），NUS大概25万以内。UIUC的费用虽然家里是有，但略吃力。

诚恳地求各位给点建议。

Hi, my friend! Let me begin by saying that education is a big investment, so you need to first consider your desired outcome. I can see that your short-term goal is to land a job overseas and gain some work-related experience. For this purpose, UIUC’s program may not be a good choice for you. UIUC’s MFE is a young program and as you may know, the job market is very tight in Financial Engineering. So it might bedifficult for you to land a full-time job after you graduate. NUS is a great school and has a good alumni network in Asia. Given that the cost is also dramatically lower than UIUC, I’d say this might be a better option for you.

Of course, this is only based on your short-term goal of landing a job after graduation. If you’re also concerned about the program’s location, that’s a different story. Let me know if you have any further questions or need some more help!
