Hi, my friend! Let me begin by saying that education is a big investment, so you need to first consider your desired outcome. I can see that your short-term goal is to land a job overseas and gain some work-related experience. For this purpose, UIUC’s program may not be a good choice for you. UIUC’s MFE is a young program and as you may know, the job market is very tight in Financial Engineering. So it might bedifficult for you to land a full-time job after you graduate. NUS is a great school and has a good alumni network in Asia. Given that the cost is also dramatically lower than UIUC, I’d say this might be a better option for you. Of course, this is only based on your short-term goal of landing a job after graduation. If you’re also concerned about the program’s location, that’s a different story. Let me know if you have any further questions or need some more help! Jon Frank HBS 2005 -- by 会员 JonFrank (2013/2/20 12:11:08)
