I graduated from Warwick business school, and most ppl in my yr (chinese or not) got job offers upon graduation in either big4s or other IBs.
Obviously in London, unis generally get the benefit of having better connections with the city and other firms but i don't believe it is the case that companies only target Ox & LSE.
LBS's MiM is for fresh graduates with min. work experience.
Obviously with the name of LBS, you get the benefit of the alumni and facilities, but since the programme itself is kinda new, from what i gathered, it is far less prestigious than the MiF or MBA.
If you are thinking abt UK, i'd say: 1st choice unis go with the ones in London, i.e. LBS, LSE, and IC. Other unis in London -- (esp. if you want get a job in the current environment) probably not much point. 2nd/back ups: you may consider unis such as Warwick, City (i took it out from the 1st tier London uni).
Of course this is just my personal experience and what my colleagues think. Hope it helps.

I assume u refer to master in Warwick Business School right?
Sorry your question is too general…..where do I start?
Do you mean working in the UK or in China?
China, im not sure.
UK, depends.
You need to consider:
1.how long you’ve been studying in the UK? I mean did u do ur undergrads/A-levels here or ur only doing a 1-yr master?
2.When you finish ur study, are u able to sort out working visa on ur own?
Problem is the current job market in the UK is pretty shit, esp. in the financial industry/investment banking side, with very limited amt of new-hires.
Big 4s tend to be easier to break in so would be a good starting point if you can get your hands on those offers.
However things might start to pick up by the time you graduate so keep the hopes high ;D
Hi,Thanks for your detailed instruction. I got an offer from Warwick Msc Accounting and Finance program. I don't have any previous working experience and I am current a student In a Non-UK overseas university major in accounting. I wish to get an entry level job relating to Accounting or corporate finance, such as the big 4 or bank. I have passed the first 9 paper of the ACCA. I got an MSA offer from UIUC, if there is a better chance to get job in UK, I will give up the US school.B. By the way, I can't get a visa by my own . I do need a company to sponsor tier2 visa.. Your information is very important to me, so I hope You can share more. Thanks a lot.
