想问下that of the 1.4 percent...的that指的是什么？personal spending到底是在和什么比较？多谢！

这里的含义是：预期认为：第三季度的个人消费将会使该季度的个人消费增长率在上一季度的1.4％的基础上番倍。

其实这道题表面上是比较，但是进行下翻译就会发现，double这里是翻倍的含义，当做是V，所以理解为：个人消费增长率在上一季度的1.4％的基础上加倍。

that of 在这里就是要指代 personal spending, 但是记得要带入指代先行词回到原文再读一遍， 就发现 personal spending of。。。。personal spending 这样是读不通的

虽然在形式上不严格对应，但比起其他选项的错误，这就是最好的选项了。

从句子结构上来分析，expectations that中的that引导的是定语从句，修饰前者。但是在从句中我们分析一下，主语是personal spending ，谓语是double,宾语是the 1.4 percent growth rate 。personal spending 怎么可以double    growth rate 呢？求高人指点，

不是personal spending in the July-September quarter 么？意思是第三季度的个人消费。怎么是第三季度的个人消费增长率？
这句翻译应该是第三季度的个人消费在上一季度的1.4%的基础上翻倍。personal spending怎么会double 1.4% 呢？不太明白呀  求解释

我觉得expectation that是个同位从  that后面就是具体阐释expectation的东西
