我也认为不能按照省略of来判断D的对错,did I miss something?还是因为当时ron解释的时候是11年,现在OG的preference变了?虽然是个很小的问题,D中的idiom错误也很明显,但是我还是希望判断meaning,语法为先,idiom as a last resort to appealto.

同意ron，of可留可省；官題中也有較多類似情況，也是可留可省，這裡應該不必深究og解釋..

i cannot figure out why you say idiom is the last resort..
gmat is an english test. and idiom is the basic part of english.
using wrong idioms is similar to the situation that we write the wrong chinese characters.. i think..
