不是很明白（1）这里的THEM和THEY怎么是指A MERGER AGREEMENT？？？不是指INVESTORS么？？？？？

（3）还有rhod的关于THAT定语从句的跳跃修饰我明白了，不过什么时候可以跳，什么时候跳了就是错？？看修饰的逻辑关系，只要正确就可以？？还是一定是要考虑句子长度？？（可是长度怎么算？多少算长到应该跳跃了）

我认为这里them和they都是plural的形式，而a merger agreement是单数的形式，不能够形成parallelism。而不是说them或they指代a agreement。谢谢rhod的指导。
