现在的年轻人比过去更愿意帮助别人
Nowadays young people are often labeled as selfish and indifferent. Indeed, youngsters always feel tired and lost the enthusiasm caring others with the increasing pressure from family and society. Though the current situation is not so satisfactory, in my opinion, young people are more willing to help others than people in the past.

First of all, young people’s moral character is improved with the higher level of education. Children are taught to be friendly and helpful to others from a young age since families pay more attention on moral education than before. The teachers will also educate children should be helpful at school. On March 5 every year, school will organize students to take part in various social commonweal activities learning Le Feng who is a truly selfless figure. Many volunteers could be seen everywhere such as campuses and residential communities. They contribute their love in the forms of teaching English, take care of orphans and so on. They develop the valuable character of helping others according these activities.

Second, more needed information transmitted by modern media triggers young people’s sympathy, which make them more willing to help others. Social networking websites like Twitter and blog enable people to publish and access related information widely and rapidly. Sina microblog, the famous Chinese twitter, appealed the public to donate books and stationery to children who live in several poor areas according to announce online last year. Many young people who have user ID knew the thing and got touch with Sina to offer their helps. With the power of the information highway, totally 30 million people participate in according to statistics. It might be hard for people to believe in the past.

However the youth today are faced with an amount of pressure unseen by any previous generations and self-centeredness of social mentality is growing, there are still young people out there who are willing to help others. Because they have more chances to get educated and feel more convenience to offer their help. The reasons I have analyzed in above reflect my point. The reality is that nowadays, compare to the past, young people are more willing to help others.
