问下A B E中定从修饰问题 为啥不能跳跃修饰monkeys?

这里是因为有SEE sb doing中有个动词sleeping on the branches 用独立结构修饰状语更合理么？求教！！！！

1、語法上，我覺得是可以跳躍修飾monkeys的。
但是，有whose的選項都不是最優的選擇--->whose在選項裏面，根據meaning的確修飾monkeys，但是根據proximity，branches也可以。而且，按照就近修飾的原則，branches看起來更像是intended antecedent。

pronoun ambiguity的判斷標準，我覺得一般都是放在最後才考慮吧。除非是有很明顯的number/repeat/gender暗示指代的確是XXX，沒有其他可能的antecedent時候，才能夠確定唯一的antecedent。

2、lz所說的獨立結構做狀語是指with arms blah~??
with修飾sleeping，表示monkeys睡覺時的狀態。

其他選項錯得很明顯，比較之下，D較優。
