我选的B， 标准的A. 我在A和B之间有点不理解, 为什么过去时态和现在完成进行时态可以共同存在的, 还是说ever since有固定搭配 。

看好时间状语咯亲，，
题目说 ten to twenty billion years ago  这个是标准的一般过去时，所以要用began而不是had begun
另外第二个时间状语 expanding ever since.   since要用一般现在时，记住是一般现在时，。所以就用has been咯。

另外一个句子可以是两种时态并列的，，，主要看时间状语是什么咯
