1. A statement of purpose is required for all degree-seeking applicants. Please submit a statement of approximately 300-500 words concerning your purpose for undertaking or continuing graduate study, your reasons for wanting to study at Purdue, and your professional plans, career goals, and research interests. You also may explain any irregularities or special circumstances applicable to your background and elaborate on your special abilities, awards, achievements, scholarly publications, and/or professional history.
2. Roadmap (500 words max) – How do you plan to most effectively utilize the resources at Purdue University to meet your personal and professional objectives? You may use these questions to guide your response: *
a. What resources at the Krannert School of Management and with Purdue University will you take advantage of during your time here? b. What do you view as your personal responsibilities while at Purdue for ensuring you will meet your personal and professional goals? c. What are your expectations of faculty, staff and fellow students to facilitate your journey? d. What contributions to Purdue University will you make during your time as a student? e. What contributions will you make as an alumnus of Purdue University
3. Leadership (500 words max)* – a. What does leadership mean to you? b. Who best exemplifies the type of leader you respect? Why? c. What kind of a leader are you now? d. What type of leader would you like to be in the future? e. How will earning a degree at Purdue improve your leadership skills?
