Dear students,



Further to our announcement dated November 13, 2012, the Management Committee is very pleased to pronounce that Prof. Ming Liu will be the new Director of the MSc in Finance Programme and Prof. Chak Wong will act as the Practitioner Director starting July 1, 2013. We trust that they will continue dedicating their best to further advance our MSc programme.



We would also like to thank Prof. Chak Wong and Prof. Ming Liu for their contributions to the development of our MSc in Finance in the past few years. Their devotion has resulted in an academic programme that deserves great merit. The rigor of teaching, the high standard in the course design, the thoroughness of course material, and the industry relevance are all substantial building blocks to our programme’s success . Hereon, we will strive to maintain and improve the quality of teaching with the goal of helping our students achieve success in the commercial world. Finally, the management committee would like to acknowledge the notable contributions made by Prof. Chak Wong. With ample experience in the industry, he has strengthened our programme’s industry relevance and professional connections. The management committee expects his full commitment to the programme for the years to come. And we believe that our current endeavors will continue to drive this programme from strength to strength.



The open forum will still be held on December 10, 2012 (5:30 – 6:30p.m. at LT8 Cheng Yu Tung Building).  The two directors will be there to hear your views and opinions of our programme.
