这几句还有些疑问卤煮能给解答一下不？

牛津高阶词典里有例句 He's never more annoying than when he's trying to help 以及 She's a better player than (she was) last year.

但按照我们的逻辑，than之前没有状语，不能在than之后省略【he is】，但不省略的话，又显得太罗嗦

还是应该改成 He's never more annoying than he is when trying to help? 也不对呀

是不是词典里压根没考虑句子歧义？

还有According to recent studies comparing the nutritional value of meat from wild animals and meat from domesticated animals, wild animals have less total fat than [that of] livestock fed on grain...

此句可以改为

wild animals have less total fat than livestock fed on grain do

而这里因为单复数一致，所以可以省略动词 do

变成 wild animals have less total fat than livestock fed on grain... 就成了原句了
