expectation that...that是作为expectation的同位语，解释这个抽象名词，expectation后面最好用将来时态，所以would比较好
double在这里是作为动词使用的， personal spending in the July-September quarter would more than double the 1.4 percent growth rate
more作为副词修饰double，是说7-9月的personal spending 是增长率1.4%的两倍

至于LZ贴的那个句子，双重所有格在GMAT中是一定错误的
This year's rate has doubled that of the last year's.  that指代rate，of所有格后面不应该再出现‘s了吧？
是不是LZ看的帖子有误？
