我个人觉得acknowledged as 前后的东西是同等逻辑层次的东西。work been acknowledged as importance 我觉得逻辑意思有问题,work is important 才符合意思

I just attack choice C in meaning （macro-level）


you should know that non-underlined portion is quite important in this question


the existence of semicolon is used to connect two closely related things


even given that choice C can indeed has  it as placeholder


a fact has now been acknowledged has not thing to do with what BM‘s study shows


that problem is non-existent in choice A


the two parts are closely related

我记得在某个帖子里看见过，being+n的形式一般来说（如果不是描述该名字的characteristics的话），being都是wordy的用法，可以直接排除。acknowledged as 后面应该直接跟名字。
