我对A 选项很纠结。。。。这句话的主语是什么。。。。。谁能给分析一下句子成分呢。

A中的第二个it 指代错误，是不是因为弱指代的问题呢

101 想了半天 明白了 如果有问题的话求指正。
个人觉得：这里的IT 更有什么也不指代，充当形式主语的意味。就算是要指代个什么，但这里的第二个It 是个弱指代， 根本就指代不到 executive。也可能指代 course of action。 就算它指代到了 executive，likely的用法是 be likely to do , executive is like to do 那么就让句子出现了两个谓语，还有个谓语是MAKES。这是不对的。
所以 改成 makes it likely that the executive will miss..."才行；所以 才出现了 OG上的 it is ambiguous ,leaving the reader with question about who or what is likely to miss these signs.

个人认为，第一个it 逻辑上应该指代a course of action 但是由于a course of action位于前面很长一串介词宾语之后，所以此处it 是弱指代。第二个it 做形式宾语指代to 后面的内容，但是这里并没有指明是谁miss signs of trouble，缺少动作的执行者，（对比正确选项，to 后面点明了是executive 执行miss signs这个动作）所以此处it is ambiguous。
