答案对D的解释说：appears that it has is an incorrect verb form.
这句话我不能理解啊，看过曼哈顿给出appear的两个例子，一个是appear as 一个是it appears that,那D和B的用法是不是错误的？为什么要说V形式不对嗯？

但是对于C的解释又说：because they use complete independent clauses,the last two elements are not parallel to the first .这一句话我很难理解好，为什么说完全独立的句子，the upward thrust threw one man straight into the air这句话至少还是分词短语啊，就像A所解释的，为什么会不同呢，求赐教

1. 新东方老师曾说，GMAT语法里只有appear to do, 没有appear that和appear as, 目前还没碰到反例。
2.A选项正确是因为并列的中心词是平行的，就是说power、thrust 和 signals三个个名词短语是平行的。而C选项是power和两句话并列，这就不对头了。
3. XX规定允许XX限制XX的自由，是可以解释的通的。再说其他的都有明显的错误啊。

楼主要学会搜索哦。。。我刚也被这个问题困扰了。 不小心搜到到以前别人的解答。 给你贴上来吧。。 虽然晚了两个月  哈哈

不能用sth./someone appears that it has...
只能用it appears that something has...和sth./someone appears to have
也就是说appears that前面必须用的是形式主语或形式宾语，指代that名词性从句内容。
It appears that all the files have been deleted.
He tried to make it appear that she had committed suicide.
