As people rely more and more on technology to solve problems, the ability of humans to think for themselves will surely deteriorate

Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the statement and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider ways in which the statement might or might not hold true and explain how these considerations shape your position.

Developing of technology combined the development of our society.Maybe it is technology that makes people different from, or stand out of other living creatures.When ancient people began to use simple tools to cut meat and to put them on the fire in order to make it more delicious, they were actually use technology to develop themselves.Step by step, people continue to invent new tools, and, as a result, the product efficiency was increased to a great extent.New technology provide better ways to solve problems and push the society into the agricultural age, then the Industrial age, and now the age of digital.However, as people relay more on technology, will our ability of thinking deteriorate?In my opinion, there is no need for us to worry about this.


As we all know, with the latest technology, people would save more time and energy so that they could devote themselves to more meaningful work.Make full use of technology means that people use the right tools and wonderful method to deal with the problem.In other words, you do not try to finish the task simply with your own hands.For example, a person wants to get the result of a number of math problems.If he use his own mind and try to calculate them with a pencil and paper, it may take a lot of time, perhaps several hours or even one or two day.By the way, there would be some mistakes in the result if he is a careless people.But what will happen if he put these into a computer?A computer can finish this task in a few seconds, what’s more, there would not be a mistaken answer, each consequence must be correct.Besides, he saved pencil and a lot of paper, which is extremely friendly to our environment. As we can see, technology may increase the efficiency of a work, save resource and energy at the same time.With these extra time and energy, it is possible for us to finish more work in the same period, that means to create more product and promote the society development.


Moreover, technology provides people with more opportunities to do intellectual work.Some people who holds opposite views argue that intellectual work are done by people but have little connection with technology.This method, however, is somehow unilateral and it does not make a cogent case.Surely, technology itself is a production of people’s intellectual work, but with the technology, people’s minds are broadened and it is possible for average people to finish creative work.A person, who might not be a photographer and know little about photograph, wants to create his own masterpiece of photograph.His dream may not be realized with an ordinary camera and film.However, if he uses a digital camera and the Photoshop software, he picture would become extremely beautiful and attractive (he can beautify the picture and attain something as he like).Now, with the latest technology, art is not only the matter of artist, every one have the ability to create beauty of their own.


Although technology benefits us most, what I must say is that people may become salve of it if we relay on technology totally.With the latest technology, we are going to finish daily task efficiently and create better products.But there are some people around us who wants do everything only by a press on a button and have nothing in their mind.Today, a number of people may feel that they cannot finish any task without a computer and their cell phone with them.In other words, they are trapped with technology, and feel discomfort without them.Some people relay on technology too much and do not use their own mind to deal with new questions. In that case, we had better make full use of technology as well as find new ways to improve technology, which must be a good choice.


To sum up, we are able to solve problem faster and better if we relay on technology, no matter in our life or at work.When we use technology, we find new problems, create new methods as we as new minds, in some sense, to improve the technology.Technology using is accompanied by thinking.So is meaningless to worry about that technology would do harm to the ability of human to think for themselves.

文章写得还不错的，主要的建议是如果能站在一个比较高的角度看到技术和人们的思考能力这个问题就更好，当然你这种写法也是可以的

怎样才是比较高的角度呀？我不太会用立意好的例子，求版主推荐材料或者例文看~
另外语言和用词上怎么能提高呢？

例子这个其实不用特别积累，只要自己对话题有一定的理解，很多自己已经记得的例子都可以用上。再就是例子也是可以编造的。
语言和用词就是要自己先积累多点句式和短语词汇之类的吧，时间充足的话自己多做句子翻译练习，比如拿新概念英语的中文翻译再翻译成英文，与原文对照。不断地靠近，你的表达会提高的，时间不足，那就自己写的时候有意识的多变换词汇或者句式，而不拘泥于自己首先想到的那个。
