想问一下各位牛牛，我看的是新东方李希强老师的OG分析，上面这题写的是making前面没有thus,thus对应and，想问一下，难道没有thus和分词一起出现的形式吗，一定是and thus?还有介词it的指代，为什么不是就近指代sloth,而是优先指代arm?

thus为什么要对应and？除非thus后面是一个句子，需要and连词连接两个句子。
也可以有thus + Ving形式，表结果。

it的指代问题是出现在AB两个选项中，我只是想通过这个问题问一下代词指代的顺序。thus对应and是我在那个讲义上看到的，不过你的解释，很清楚了~~

要这样看问题，因为你不知道指代什么，所以它就是有歧义的，其实这个句子本身也是有问题的，found and dated 作定语，后面made,就变成，fossils made the sloth balabala...........而句子原本表达的意义是dated这个动作所导致的结果是made the sloth balabala......

但是thus肯定不能省。
当连接副词连接的是两个adj性质的成分时候，可以省略and
