请教 GWD 7-32 A选项中的 claims 如何理解？

unemployement claim就是失业补助或失业救济金的意思。

我选了B，就因为B 中用的是 not so.. as...不是一般在否定情况下就应该如此吗？

D：sentence fragment

E：suggesting the economy might not be as weak as previously thought to be by some analysts，suggesting后少了that；sentence fragment；to be多余

这道题还在考谓语，当主语很长，谓语靠后出现是，就有可能考谓语。D和E缺乏谓语，明显错误。

这题的思路应该是

1。DE没谓语，排除。

2。B，单复数不一致

3。C被动，不如主动简洁。同时完成式也难以找到时间依据。

欧总觉得是Not so....as什么得，看来真有not.. as....as；

认为not as as不对的同志看过来！

应该是so ...as...不能用在肯定句，没说not as as不能用在否定句啊！！！

这个解释很准确，unemployment claims,claims做名词，应该可以翻译成失业的报告

只是有not as...as...，这个用法吗？否定句中不是用not so ...as...的吗？
