但我怎么觉得C也是错的。注意一个and，让have和前面的are平行了，它们的主语都是海豚。HAVE 在这里是怎么回事。

这句话的主语是the Eric Canal，要是一个如此这般（很长，若是不长，还可以看看是不是同位语）名词词组放在句首，什么成分？

根据上面的分析已经可以确定C项是正确的了。现在看其他三个选项

A项，名词作从句主语。独立主格。意思不对。

B项，主要理由同上，同时这里没有of表两名词间的关系，错上加错。

C项，谓语。两个谓语之间没有连接词，改从句谓语为非谓语形式。
