ＳＥ不是个很大很流行的专业，基本都是    ＣＳ。我觉得你很可能进前５０的学校，ＣＳ还是比较看重经验的。

多谢楼主，顺便问一下，申CS，还是SE(Software engineering)，哪个更贴切些？如果论就业呢？另外目前我打算重点申80～100名左右的学校，想问一下，50～80之间的学校机会如何？

第一次 144+168+3.5
第二次 149+165+(还不知道)
打算申统计专业，请问送哪次的分比较好呢  谢谢~！！

专业前50，希望这次托福考高点。加油！

普渡哥， 求定位。本人来自东南大学，平均分84+，排名19/150,gre v154q164(掩面。。)+3.5，g不想考了，T目前仅89，马上最后一战（完全没底。。），有普通项目经历，无paper, 想申ME的master，大概能申什么样的学校啊？

谢谢普渡哥鼓励，但是我看到现在Purdue 的GRE AW 要求4.0，但我只有3.0，所以发了封邮件到graduate committee，他们的回信如下：
Thank you for your interest in the Food Science Graduate Program at Purdue University.  I would be happy to answer your question.  GRE and TOEFL scores are very important parameters for evaluation of the graduate student applications to our program.  Students who do not meet the minimum requirements are not eligible. Even if they get admission with less than required scores, they will struggle the most with the curriculum and may not be able to complete their degrees.  That is why we strictly enforce our requirements.

If you wish to be strongly considered for the Food Science Graduate Program at Purdue University, you will need to retake the GRE and submit new scores above the minimum requirements.  The minimum GRE requirements are verbal 400 and 146 (after 8/2011), quantitative 500 and 144 (after 8/2011), and analytical 4.0.  The TOEFL minimum requirement is 77 with individual component minimums of speaking 18, writing 18, listening 14, and reading 19.

是不是表示没有希望了呢？因为感觉还是蛮严格的。

另外，能不能帮我定位下我申请大概的范围吗？非常感谢～

本人背景：普通本科毕业，专业食品科学与工程。GPA3.2，T92，G：V150+Q161+AW3.0，世界500强研发本专业将近4年工作经验，做过些项目，还有support launch过一些产品。请问申请普度的食品ms有希望吗？

普渡哥的意思是 如果我第二次作文是3或者3.5的话就送第一次的吗？
可不可以两次都送 好像有些学校Verbal 控在146 第一次的就不行了。。。
