我想问的是：C 选项的 a phenomenon occurring没有错么？我认为是错误的，不过og没有提到。。。求解释！！！
ps：其他选项和解释已明白，可能会觉得我太钻牛角尖了。。。不过，目前为止除了个别题og的解释都很让我心服口服，除了极少数题的解释模糊或者错误没有指出以外。（所以我很怀疑，是不是自己的认为的错误其实是正确的。。）

从语法上来说a phenomenon occurring是没有错误的。occurring是V-ing形式的动名词做后置定语，修饰phenomenon

但是，再扣细一点，V-ing后置定语在这里不如AB 的 that从句（尽管都是定语功能）。因为V-ing更适合于法律条文，比如 the law suggesting.... 这样有【重复适用发生】意味的情况。而that从句，更适用于单一次数发生的情况

还有becase of的使用也不符合OG对because/ because of的偏好。because of 最好只跟一个名词，不要出现从句，否则就用because。另外n. + having done也是GMAC极其不喜欢的结构。

大无畏精神再次提问：定语的时候，如果我没记错的话，只有可用作形容词的动名词才可以的。。。吗？（不确定不确定。。）
还有就是，我一直把occur当做瞬间动词，所以occurring这个用法觉得不适合。求赐教！！！

貌似并不是的，只要前面名词时定语的逻辑主语就可以。但是个别题目也要看情况，有是有用that引导定语从句更好，虽然一般来说后置定语更简洁。
