| A nation should require all of its students to study the same national curriculum until they enter college. [Specific Task Instruction: Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the recommendation and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, describe specific circumstances in which adopting the recommendation would or would not be advantageous and explain how these examples shape your position.]

Education is a fundamental issue for anation, and the curriculum designed for students decides the educationalguidelines and concepts of a country. Some people consider that even at itselementary stage, that is, before students entering the college. But my opinionis that, the general education, especially some core education such as math, sciences, languages, etc.

Firstly, the unified curriculum of generaleducation has more benefits for the cultivation of students.

As we know, if the curriculum differs fromplace to place, then the performances from different areas are hardlycomparable, thus complicating the recruiting process of the colleges. Inaddition, different elementary course in general education will result indifferent cognizant levels after entering college. For example, in China, thecomputer curriculum is not the same nationwide. In economically developedareas, the computer class is taught from primary school to high school, but inundeveloped urban areas where I grew up, computer education is unrealistic. Thus the consequent problem is that students in the same college fail to start fromthe same line. I worked very hard when I studied my computer course in mycollege, but only got a C. In my opinion, this is unfair for students who neverstudied the course before.

Moreover, the most important part of thegeneral education should be the habituating of logical thinking and criticalthinking, as well as the studying strategy. All these abilities are necessaryfor a future college student. A uniform curriculum can bestow all students thesame necessary education, providing them a stage for fair competition, so thatno students will fall behind due to external liabilities.
 (这部分没有仔细分析cultivation,此外,还可以从竞争方面入手进行讨论。)

Secondly, by unifying the general educationcurriculum, the government can have a much convenient way to administer thecountry. There are several advantages for government as follows; 1. Theeducation cost is relatively low. Because of the same curriculum, the teacherscan be trained with standardization, so that the quality of the teachers can beguaranteed. 2. The students' parents will not complain educationaldiscrimination because what students learn are the same, at least in corecourses. 3. Radical or extreme mind can hardly survive because the samecurriculum makes people more moderate. The above reason evidently bespeaks theadvantages of uniform curriculum for a country.

I concede that the discrepancy from differentplaces and different students exists objectively. The uniform curriculum shouldby no means ignore or remove these differences; rather, each school can developstudents' personal interests after they have finished the compulsory education. In this way, we can also keep every student's talents utmost.

From perspectives above, Although theuniform curriculum usually leads to more fierce competition, its advantagesoutweighs the shortages, and I agree that a nation should require all of itsstudents to study the same national curriculum until entering college, especially for some core courses.
 后面几段不知道怎么写了。囧。。。而且第一篇花了太久时间啊!
