果然老了...看半天以为选C，看完各楼发现没什么人选C...然后看别人解析发现好像似乎确实是A...

首先观察句义。。把前半句灰常长且没有且看不懂的定语从句抹去后，主句意思清晰表达为：尽管investigation仍需大量实践检验，但doctors应注意...

故DE出现情态动词can，这种情态动词的随意添加，不合理的改变了句义。被pass

然后AB和C的区别在于AB在句子前半句用了被动，而C没用。乍看，其实C很好，但C的错误（同B）在于，后半句it指代investigation，而investigation不能发出should这个动作。物不能“要求别人应该做什么”

句子结构：Although the investigation that (people who...than those who...) will need to be ..., doctors and patients should ...that...

排除E: 第二句的they指代谁？若是the investigation，则应该是it;若是doctors and patients，则不应该有第二个逗号。
排除D：第二个should weigh...虽然语法没错，但是改变了原来句子的重心。
排除B和C：it should remind这里的it指代什么呢。如果说是investigation，逻辑上不通。remind有两个意思，提醒和使唤起；B和C都是讲it唤起docs and pats什么什么，即医生和病人想起了后面那些内容，但是原文的意思是他们被提醒weighing是重要的。

所以选A
