Welcome to the Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University and congratulations on your recent admission for this upcoming Fall 2012 term.  According to our records, you were accepted into either our MS Accounting or MBA Accounting program.  As you know, the Zarb School of Business is an AACSB accredited school and in addition, our Accounting department is also AACSB accredited, a distinction that fewer than 10% of business schools hold.  Our highly regarded Accounting Department offers a number of programs and as part of our outreach, we wanted to make you aware of the distinction among them and who each program is designed for.  lease take a minute to look over the attached list of programs.  If for some reason you find that you are admitted to a program that you don’t feel will provide the necessary coursework/preparation that you are looking for, please contact the Accounting Department directly at 516-463-5684 or via email at Nathan.S.Slavin@Hofstra.edu .

If you have yet to enroll and would like to make an appointment, please contact the Graduate Programs Office at 516-463-5683 or via email at isa.Welch@Hofstra.edu">Lisa.Welch@Hofstra.edu  as soon as possible.  Alternatively, if you are unable to come in for an appointment we can get you registered via email.  We have admitted a record number of new students and many classes are now closed.  Having deposited will only secure your seat in the program, provided we have courses available to you.
