比较这题D与E，我觉得 Being very reluctant to do sth was the reason that 这样表达没有问题，要是去掉being, 就需要被形容词寻找动作执行者， very reluctant to do sth, Charles Lindergh…..
D 我觉得错误主要是在前面出现了一堆he, his，但是有没有紧跟给出he, his 是谁，指代不清。
后面despite being offered $1000 to do so. 真的看出，being 很多时候用在被动语态做名词的时候。想想这里为什么不是直接跟一个offered ，而是跟一个being offered.
