OG13 一道语法题 求分析。！？

我的想法，希望对大家有帮助
1. although 开头，意味着两件事：
    a. although引导的句子必须是完整的句子（主谓语都存在）
    b. although 引导完一个完整句子后，还必须有另一个完整的独立句子出现。因为although 引导的 都是非独立从句（dependent clause。）                                    

2. 根据上面1.a, 选项A是错的。因为although 引导的句子却 动词谓语verb。
                   选项c 是错误的，因为they 没有antecedent先行词。  

3.  “Deadly Five” 最容易出现的问题是单复数不一致. 但是选项c 的错误是they 没有先行词。
只要看到这5个单词出现，先看答案选项，如果答案选项有区别，看antecedent是什么                                 当使用it, they, 或者其他表示人的pronouns时，它们代表的是和antecedent 同一个东西

我觉得这个解释我能理解。但是我看曼哈顿的书上写：The dash (—) is a flexible punctuation mark that the GMAT occasionally employs. You can use a dash as an emphatic comma, semicolon, or colon. 那若是作为；这里不应该是三个独立的句子么？

本来想选B但是看到although后接的是一个名词heirloom tomatoes,就排除了。although后面接的句子可以被修饰语或者逗号隔开吗

请问"although heirloom tomatoes ... than most of their round and red supermarket cousins—they are often green..." 中，会不会有歧义 因为—后面的“they”也可以指“supermarket cousins”？

说一下我的看法，我刚做错的原因也是认为they可以指代supermarket cousins， 但是回看的时候我发现this is not an issue。有两点：1）they并不是在划线范围中，五个选项的主语也都是heirloom tomatoes，所以这一点不是大问题。2）从语义上看，前句supermarket cousins已经被描述为round and red，这里的green and striped就肯定不会来描述supermarket cousins了
