PP-simple sugars

Lactos, a sugar present in milk, is one of simple sugars used in food preparations for infants.

I got confused about this question because of different ideas. To figure out this question, I took the PP test again. Now I am sure the correct answer is "present". I chose "present" and then I got 13-29 score, which means what I chose is the positive answer.

In addition, I searched "one of simple sugars" in google. I got one sentence following:

All carbohydrates are made up of one or more molecules of simple sugars.
