1. DUKB千行excel 中说选项b 是夹心修饰。我怎么觉得a 才是夹心修饰呢？

2. b 中 go说coordinating 修饰 illustrations. 但是，“，ving” 作定语的情况，不是前面得是名词或名词性短语吗？这里是介词短语。

同理B： In her book illustrations, carefully coordinating them with her narratives, Beatrix Potter...中carefully coordinating them with her narratives既可以修饰illustrations，又可以修饰BP~

为什么in sth中的sth就不是名词性的呢？这里只是介宾结构而已啊~
ving在做noun modifier的时候可以看成定从啊~ 例如: i will vote for Jane who is very respoonsible.难道因为有介词for就不能用定从who来修饰jane了吗？

貌似我见过的"comma+v-ing"做noun modifier 前面都是没有介词的名词性短语？

同意IAMBIGCHAN .  
COMMA+ VING 一般是动词modifer 修饰整个从句。
只有当 comma+ ving 的前面是NOUN 或者名词短语， comma+ ving 才作为noun modifer.


通常我们见到的 “介词短语, VING MODIFER +SVO” 是错误选项“夹心修饰”

首先我觉得LZ举得例子里acting like rocks in a streambed应该不是noun modifier,应该是做adverbial modifier,伴随修饰produce.只是它的逻辑主语是前面的名词。
另外，我没太明白你说的“介词短语, VING MODIFER +SVO” 是错误选项“夹心修饰”，难道“介宾结构，ving,SVO”中因为ving和SVO之间多了一个“，”就没有夹心修饰了吗？
