A和B中，正确选项中有and，错误选项中没有and，对于这个由两个逗号前后分隔开的短语的语法结构有木有影响，其实我也是看了以前讨论的所有的帖子，都说这个and感觉好奇怪，但是最终还是没有个定论，我自己乱想的觉得B中没有and的存在，语法结构上绝对可以把, particularly red wine,看做是插入语，用于解释说明前句中的成分，那么逻辑含义上就错误了，就成了说red wine是alcohol consumption了，这个是绝对错误的。但是A中呢，因为有个and的存在，所以我真不知道能不能看做是插入语还是应当看做是主语的一个并列的成分。

请NN发表下看法吧。。

把这个and...理解成为并且由其是红酒，去找比这个and更致命的BCDE四个选项的其它错误。如果都能找出来，记下来，告诉自己在GMAT的SC里，这些错误比这个感觉有些奇怪又说不上一定是错的的and要致命。

begin doing能用到的地方非常少，目前只见过开始长期做一件事情（以前没做过）的这种用法，和start用法类似

C选项中我觉得有一个比较严重的歧义的错误，就是in a 1991 report这个短语的摆放位置，可以造成的歧义是caused them to begin to grow again这整个事件都是发生在这个in a 1991 report中，但是OG木有提出来这个，不知道是否有人跟我相同的看法？

我还真没想到这一层，毕竟那么多逗号出现了，不管是作为强调时间还是腔调report，caused和这个介词短语中间都已经相隔十万八千里了。

第四个问题：

C选项中这个which的指代问题及OG的解释让我想起来了另外一道题目，OG12 110题：Published in Harlem, the owner and editor of The Messenger were twoyoung journalists, Chandler Owen and A. Philip Randolph, who would later makehis reputation as a labor leader。不知道大家记得否，这里OG就解释说错误选项中这个who的指代不明，所以会造成歧义。但是回到121这个题目，我感觉这里which前面也是由and连接的两个成分，不同的是就是多了一个逗号，然后OG就说这个which就是指代的red wine了，感觉OG的解释很贱有木有。。。。难道说这个and前面逗号的存在就有影响了？

and前面有逗号是一个很重要的标志呀.....but也是，他们都是连词，连词出现在逗号后肯定和不出现在逗号后不一样的。

第五个问题：particularly与in particular的区别。。。

副词和介词短语的区别，参考manhattan的verb modifier
个人认为，副词可以修饰的范围更广一些，但位置要求更严格一些。

我还真没想到这一层，毕竟那么多逗号出现了，不管是作为强调时间还是腔调report，caused和这个介词短语中间都已经相隔十万八千里了。

and前面有逗号是一个很重要的标志呀.....but也是，他们都是连词，连词出现在逗号后肯定和不出现在逗号后不一样的。
现在这个which跳跃性指代的问题搞的我很纠结，真的感觉一会儿跳了一会儿没跳的，真心不敢根据这个指代的问题来排除选项了，所以感觉很玄啊。。。

自己又查了下各类词典。。。感觉particularly这个副词从含义上来讲，意思相对in particular要多一些，但是在做尤其，特别的含义的时候，感觉两个词（词组）在这个含义上并没有什么大的差异，对于词（词组的摆放位置，例句中particularly的摆放位置一般是放在强调事物之前，而in particular从例句看摆放位置相对灵活一些，有作为插入语放在强调事物或整个句子之前的，在之后的。
但是我看不出什么规律来，所以觉得目前看来这两个词不需要特别有意的进行辨别，这个题目中OG也没有对这两个词的使用进行特别的说明。

A、B选项的particularly的用发法是不一样的。
我查了longman，因为我觉得在这里particularly的用法和especially的用法很相似，所以我去查了especially的词条中，其中第一条是这样的：

[= particularly]:
I never liked long walks, especially in winter.
Art books are expensive to produce, especially if they contain colour illustrations.

这里especially（particularly）的用法是句子的副词，也就是修饰especially（particularly）后面的部分，既然是修饰，那么去掉也不影响。再看一下例句：
I never liked long walks, especially in winter.
Art books are expensive to produce, especially if they contain colour illustrations.
句子的成分还是非常完整的，这个用法跟B的particularly的用法是一致的，OG上说B选项red wine要加上of“the 1991 report that linked are reduced risk of heart disease with a moderate alcohol consumption, particularly of red wine”。这个解释应该就可接受了。

而A选项这里“they began to grow again after the 1991report that linked moderate consumption of alcohol, and particularly of red wine, with a reduced risk of heart disease”
这里and的出现是一个平行的标志，of red wine和前面的of alcohol是parallel的。particularly是作adv.修饰后面的prep. phrase也解释的了。

这个问题我也觉得提的好好~首先要声明的是110和这题的指代情况是不一样的。
Q110：A and B，who would later make……这里who的指代是可以指代A and B，或者B单独一个。这题里无法通过从句（即who的定语从句）谓语单复数来推断出是指代A and B，还是指代B一个。
而Q112：A of B，which……这种情况which通常跳跃指代A，但是也会出现指代B的情况，就在这题。因为C选项是“moderate alcohol consumption，and particularly of red wine，which……”这里的comma+and已经把consumption挡在前面了，which这里只能就近指代red wine，但是语意上应该指代consumption的，这样就错误了。

第五个问题：particularly与in particular的区别。。。

嗯，昨天就看到这个帖子呢，然后还继续讨论了。。。因为baby姐姐提出的一定要用begin doing我想不太清楚是根据什么判断不能把study视为是他们真正做出的第一个动作的....teddy有时间可以看看呐....不知道你怎么思考这个问题的

这个问题我也觉得提的好好~首先要声明的是110和这题的指代情况是不一样的。
Q110：A and B，who would later make……这里who的指代是可以指代A and B，或者B单独一个。这题里无法通过从句（即who的定语从句）谓语单复数来推断出是指代A and B，还是指代B一个。
而Q112：A of B，which……这种情况which通常跳跃指代A，但是也会出现指代B的情况，就在这题。因为C选项是“moderate alcohol consumption，and particularly of red wine，which……”这里的comma+and已经把consumption挡在前面了，which这里只能就近指代red wine，但是语意上应该指代consumption的，这样就错误了。

begin doing简单的说就是开始一件长期的事情，不是一天两天就能完成

begin to do相对而言就是比较短时间内完成的一件事情

with不管跟随的是不是begin,一旦出现就有伴随着句子之前的另外一件事情、一个动作等等的意思，要特别注意使用方法，因此with使用的自由度比较低。不是见到with就错，而是因为它被正确使用的范围较小，因此OG,prep的题里，有with作为split off的选项的那种题，选with的概率相对也降低了。

因此个人认为对于一切with,熟读它正确的用法，并且总结一下with正确用法在GMAC眼中是什么样子的，longman又是如何解释with用法的就足够了。

en，关于begin doing和begin to do，从姐姐说的角度一个是长期一个短期可以帮助我们判断选择哪个，但是其隐含的实质是begin doing更倾向于描述的长期的目标，而不是具体的action，而begin to do则暗含的意思就是这个do就是要真正发出的action。
这个区别在那个美国诗人那个题目中就体现了出来
with也是略麻烦的一个考点,,,
