however, OG says: Just as with and Just like are both unnecessary wordy.

wordy <> unnecessary wordy. This is my understanding.

Don't use such so called rules too rigidly.

Just like 有可能是wordy, 原句是like就不要改成just like，可能啰嗦， 原句是just like一般不改成like，弱语气词表强调；当然也不完全这样，要根据具体题来全面分析
