第一题：flat和flatly都是可以做副词的，但是意思不同。flat做副词的时候表示“平直地”，而flatly表示“直接了当地；平平地”；因此这里用flat似乎更好点，衣服被折叠得很平直，平整。
另：so作连词（意思为”所以，因此“）完全可以直接连接句子，and当然不要；但这里so是副词，不是连词，所以需要一个and连词连接句子

第二题：我觉得原句”to what......"，它要表达的是同位语的意思：即解释to communal ownership of land。。。是解释一整个名词词组的！ 而如果用E, that 只修饰前边的先行词land，逻辑意思是不完整的。

B. than后面的成分需要前面有与之平行的部分，the city与Troy平行 - 正确
C. than后面was，前面没有be动词句子，排除
D. more+形容词+than

我理解 be attributed to sb 就有归属于sb的意思了，如果在用所属格Rembrandt's 或 by Rembrandt造成语意重复
