如果你这么读：Turning away...., in 1990.....那么，看起来就很像是in 1990这个介词短语turning away了前面那些东西

GMAT有个习惯，A,B,C
如果A是修饰语，那么B要么是插入语（这种情况都比较少），要么在B的开头就会立刻给出A的修饰对象。如果B是插入语，那么C的开头必须是A的修饰对象。
