平行应该怎么看呢？

and 行平兩個動作，to form the mud or clay into bricks  , 跟 to lay them in the wall in mud mortar.
而after some preliminary air drying or sun drying, 是插入句，被充說明而已，況且air drying , sun drying 是名詞，不是表動作。
另外，你可以從and 前後的逗號及 after...drying前後的逗號發現，這一句只是插入句，就算拿掉也不影嚮主結構!!

哦哦 对哦，原来是插入语，主要是有什么句子一长怎么判断插入语呢？

插入语就是两个逗号之间的：“，.....，” 或者破折号之间的“—.......—”
具体怎么判断不太好说，主要是基于句子，比如说这题：
and的出现，其实就是平行结构的标志，那么and后面的东西一定是要和前面的某一结构平行的，因此你可以先找找前面结构。前面结构一定没有和“after....."平行的吧，那继续往后一看，有”to....“.很明显的平行。。。。“after....”因此只能做个插入成分了。。。。
而且and后面一定是跟个SVO结构的，and突然出现个“，....，” 这个部分很突兀啊，马上就能想到是插入成分了
