Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the statement and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider ways in which the statement might or might not hold true and explain how these considerations shape your position.

Will the ability of human to think independently be undermined by the utilization of technology to deal with problems? The speaker thinks so assertively. However, I distrust the causality behind this statement which is attempting to obscure the relationship between the tendency of reliance on technique to solve problems and the independent thinking of human beings. So, frankly speaking, I don't agree with this statement and the reasons to support my disagreement are as follows.

I concede that one of the ostensible effects technology cast on today's society is the destruction of human capital as many old skills are no longer wanted, but we should notice that the capability of human beings to think for themselves cannot be included in these outdated skills, because the independent thinking is the inner attribute of human beings which exists as long as the world is changing. Human can depend on the existing technique to resolve the problems for the time being, however, new problems always appear and the existing technique consequently fail to cope with them, therefore the dilemma calls for human to conjure up novel method creatively to untangle the predicament. Therefore, the fact that individuals figure out the intricacy in the virtue of the existing technology don't mean that their creative thinking, which appeals to independent thought, will decline.

Moreover, we can see from the history that the emancipation of minds and thoughts lies in the technology which had been fulfilled by the ancestor. Via these technological progresses, men can eradicate the obstacles on the way to pursue the truth of nature. Almost all of the mentality independences are acquired by this way. For example, Galileo used the telescope, which was invented by a Dutch called Hans Lippershey and was patented in 1608, to scrutinize the moon's phases and made some momentous discoveries through the telescope, which were shown in his book Sidereus Nuncius and quite influential in the astronomy later. And just like other breakthroughs in the science, this advancement in the astronomy freed the thought of human and enhance the independence thinking of humans. Innumerable examples similar to this one can account for the necessity to make use of the technology for the sake of creative thinking. Accordingly, the speaker's claim has not a leg to stand on.

To say the least, even if the statement of the speaker reflects some phenomena, say, the degenerating learning ability of more and more students due to the abuse of computer, which leave them indulged in the computer games and mass of gossip on Internet. This statement lack feasibility reality. This supposition is understandable, because it will decrease people's fervor to avail themselves of technology when confronted with problems, if a majority of people suspect the validity of taking advantage of technique to solve problems. And once the reliance on the technology is cut off, hardly will the pace of technology progress. Someone who supports the speaker may allege that when men totally dependent on the technique to figure up all matter in daily life, men's intelligence would surely turndown sharply. Nevertheless, just as I note above, there are two points to refute the former claim. First, it's impossible to limit the extent to which human should avail themselves of the technology to solve problems, either because the intricacies men would meet in the world are changeable which needs the reforms of technology or because not all the existing technology can be available to all individuals around the world. Therefore, query whether people can substitute technique for the original methods in all aspect of daily life. And only if there is space for improvement, nothing can block human being's curiosity towards unchartered fields in this world. So, there's no need to worry about the deterioration of human's ability to think independently. Secondly, it is counterproductive to advocate such statement of the speaker only to bring negative impact on the development of technology, since the enthusiasm of scientists, inventor or other worker in the technological area for technological innovation will beat back seriously and thereby the welfare of a society, which is largely due to the upgrading of technology, will be lessened. It's undoubtedly that no one hope to witness a society go downhill.

In the final analysis, although the pervasive usage of technique at present have rid some abilities of human beings, which is behind the times, the ability to think for ourselves would never disappear, because this special capability is inherently demanded at any era in the history of human beings. Therefore, though it's an inexorable tendency for people to resort to technology to untangle the intricacies they encounter more and more, this dependence are unlikely to fetter the creative and independence thinking of men; instead, technological advancement lies in the desire to rely on techniques to deal with the more and more complex matters during our endeavor after better life.

太厉害了，810字，见过的写的最长的了，你的思维能力的确很强，分析的很透彻。语言的功底很好。我觉得你要注意的是，你的第四段太长了，看了有点难受，压缩下比较好，而且感觉考试的时候半个小时也很难写这么多吧

时间充足的话，可以看看某些素材资料，不充足的话就尽量挖掘自己的积累，再不够就自己编吧
