独立主语 独立宾语结构？which指代 求问，急

当which的潜在指代对象是一个独立的主语结构或独立的宾语结构时，且其指代对象的修饰成分比较简单，那么定语侧重于指代核心名词（在没有语法和逻辑问题的前提下）。不懂！！！


（▲manhattan中给的例句Jim biked along an old dirt road to get to his house ，which cut through the woods。
是错误句，曼书说which应该指代road，但这里指的是 house ..
其实就我以前翻语法书，这种加，的不是可以跳跃修饰么？

当which的潜在指代对象是一个独立的主语结构或独立的宾语结构时，且其指代对象的修饰成分比较简单，那么定语侧重于指代核心名词（在没有语法和逻辑问题的前提下）

个人理解~ 这句话的意思是说，which跟在 with smallribs and rails of cedar之后，会造成which的潜在指代对象是这个with开头的独立主格或宾格结构的假象。再加上with smallribs and rails of cedar修饰成分简单 （即不需要额外说明）的情况下，但是实际上后面的定语从句是偏向于指代本句的核心名词，canoe。也就是说canoe could carry four persons 而不是 smallribs and rails of cedar could carry four persons。

我自己这么看，将with smallribs and rails of cedar当成一个非限定性插入语，后面的which直接修饰主句宾语，并不需要运用以上的解释。但是以上解释也很重要，就是在with开头的独立主格成分需要额外解释的时候，在后面也可以另外加一个定语从句（然而这种情况非常罕见~基本可以忽略不计，就算是碰到了也可用逻辑推理出来到底在修饰什么）。
