三个Ving保持一致，reducing， using， and finding，，可选ABC;
A中的their 本来根据逻辑意思应修饰companies，但是因为离approaches更近，所以会造成歧义，故不选；
B中的includes单复数不一致，includes的主语是approaches，应用复数形式include。
综上，选C。

求解答啊，这个到底需不需要逻辑主语问题

逻辑主语是在考虑非谓语VIng VEd在句首是否make sense的时候吧、prep+doing是要考虑的。一般的prep+noun这种应该多考虑的是跟l主语的可比性相关性之类的吧、像unlike。
介词短语 应该多从意思上看对不对吧、尽量概念对等，逻辑正确。

个人认为，GMAT中的这个情况是要考虑逻辑主语的。GMAT的语法讲求精准和没有歧义，不允许有任何不明确的表达。prep+noun都是不含主语的，若其逻辑主语不和主句主语一致的话，就会使句子表达不精准，这在GMAT中是不允许的。
就该帖中的三个问题，我觉得不能一概而论。因为GMAT的SC题，句意才是根本
第一个问题中，选D。as well as的意思是和...一样，所修饰的成分当然要和as well as后面的名词一样，根据介宾短语就近修饰这一特征，置于句首修饰主语，所以因为heat and light和sun不对应而导致原句错误
B中also位置问题，C中streaming,E中平行问题
第二个问题中，答案选A，其实这是一道主要考察平行结构（and前后介词和名词的平行）的题，外加优先选择的问题，比如抽象名词（discovery）优于doing（discovering），还有动词（contribute）优于抽象名词（contribution）。另外，就我个人做题来说，从语感和语言美学方面，看句中的her work，句中的代词优先指代主语，逻辑更清晰明了
关于In addition
in addition to出现在句中时，基本上的情况它都不修饰主语，例如以下一些例子：
In additionto his movie work, Redford is known as a champion of environmental causes.
In addition to native plants, this garden contains numerous trees and flowers from overseas.
个人觉得，有In addition to的句子，除...之外的修饰对象都不会是主语，其后跟的名词要么属于主语这一大类（谓语动词为包含、包括），要么是主语包含的一个性质，要么和句中的其它名词成分（可为宾语，也可为介宾短语中的名词成分）同为一类
第三题，请注意，In attempting to solve the problems caused by a lowering of the price of oil，这一句话，大家是否有考虑为什么不用attempt而是用attempting，attempting作为名词表达的意思是attempt的这个过程，而非attempt所表达的意图。该句作为状语存在表示在尝试的过程中，句子的主语，就是尝试的动作发出者，即attempt的逻辑主语。该题主要也是平行问题，还有就是which指代中需要注意的单复数问题
