10.The animosity between those who regulate and those who are regulated, never more pronounced than in recent debates over environmentalism and pollution control. A
(A) The animosity between those who regulate and those who are regulated, never
(B) The animosity between those who regulate and those who are regulated, never being
(C) The animosity between those who regulate and those who are regulated has never been
(D) Between those who regulate and those who are regulated, such animosity was neverC
(E) Between those who regulate and between those regulated, such animosity has never been
答案是C,我觉得这题应该要用被动语态,可是请问C中的has never been不是现在完成时么?觉得没有被动啊。。。

为什么要用被动啊?个人感觉框架是:the animosity has never been more pronounced than debates,前面是主系表结构,pronounced(adj),in recent 说明要用现在完成时。

同上,从后句中的never more pronounced 可以确定主语是 The animosity。
从preference的角度讲,主动基本上优于被动。
such在GMAT里面的意思偏向举例(manhattan里面)。
而且意思更加的in general(manhattan IDIOMS LIST)

其实这题考点是verb tense。
从句意里面可以确定不是一般过去而是过去完成。因为是从过去一直持续到现在的。(原句“从未像最近这样这样明显”)
确定了has been了以后就很好确定了

额,明白了~~我把pronounced看成是pronounce的过去式了。。。。。
