Have you ever imagined what you will do if you are in charged to change one important thing for your hometown one day? Have you ever systematically considered what the current situation is and what the residents need as well? When I faced with those questions, the environment problem will be No.1 issue to be alternated right way.

My hometown is a small city which is a marriage of urban and country. The phenomenon could be widely seen in this city is that one or few more villages are surrounded by high buildings of city. The urbanization of my hometown brings many new problems, such as environment pollution, destruction of woods and demolishment of ancient architectures, and so on. The change of the environment is the most imperative problem now.

First of all, the cultural and ancient environment will be reserved if we stop to demolish various traditional buildings and slow down the urbanization process. The heritage of protecting cultural buildings will not only benefit for our offspring but it will also improve economics in tourism industry. Let’s take a representative case for example, LIJIANG, a small yet famous city in YunNan Province, completely keeps most of original architecture groups and provides better modern tourist service facilities. The increasing numbers of tourists from whole world go there for experiencing the ancient culture and tasting civilized coffee as well. Tourism is beginning to be the mainstay economics in LiJiang’s city.

Another problem need be improved in my home town is the education of environment pollution. People lack of knowledge in environment issues. They will go into rapture immediately at mere mention of building a new factory. They are cheered up for getting a job in city. They are excited for leaving villages. They could not see that the wasting water from factory are pouring into the river which nourished local people several thousands years. The education for environment protection is a momentous task in my hometown.

Moreover, the land will become less and less, woods will be cut more and more, and spaces for human being finally will be confined in a small, noisy and uncomfortable environment. In a word, the good environment protection will play extremely important impacts on our lives and even our descendents. Nowadays, the most urgent and important task will be the reservation and protection for natural environment and resources in my hometown.

First of all, all kinds of information are promptly conveyed by Television or Movie to people today. You could know what kind of clothes you should prepare for your kids to school if you watch weather forecast through television. just as the local people see. Television or Movies not only provides useful information but also makes the information to change people’s behaviors.
Another aspect influenced by Television or movie is financial investment or economic fluctuation. Nowadays, increasing numbers of people intend to invest their money for most profits. Even ordinary people are eager to acquire more information in stocking market or others to support their investing actions. Television is the simple yet direct media to be involved.

Additionally, more and more channels of television are playing extremely important role in daily life. As for a special group, young generation, they can obtain much more knowledge and skills through education programs on television. The university or college is not the only one resource for studying. Sometimes, television even offers a better way to teach because of its multiple functions such as picture, voice even situation simulation.

Admittedly, just as an English proverb goes “coin has both side”, television or movie also offer a couple of disadvantages. For instance, some kids who are difficult to control their behaviors will indulge in television or Movie and as a consequence it is very harmful to shape their characters because they reduce the chance for interacting with others in real life.

In conclusion, with all the aspects carefully taken into consideration, it is rather superficial to simply say that television or movie is playing a positive or negative influence on human behaviors. However, most people do recognize that the world and human behaviors are completely changed with the booming market of television or movie.

Today, no invention has received more praise and abuse than television. With the development of new technology, television, as a widely accepted product in each family, has caused several new issues under debate. Some people deem that television destroyed the communication among friends and family, but others, in contrast, hold totally opposite views, not that television destroyed communication, but that people themselves destroyed the interaction among family and friends. According to my personal experience and concerns, the second view is my premier choice also. The conspicuous reasons that support my statement are listed as follows.

First of all, people in increasing numbers are watching television every day. Television is not only a normal commodity at home, but it is even part of human life. The important information such as the world’s news, investment assistance, and weather forecast are extremely fast conveyed to people in every corner of world, and as a consequence people behaviors are effectively changed. They will immediately discuss soccer game with friends after they watch world cup football on television. Weather report on television is another popular topic enjoyed by people. As for me, a great and touching story is my favorite topic shared with friends. In a word, much information on television supports the communication among friends and family.

Moreover, some special programs developed by Television Company are enhanced to a new level today. It has not only focused on one way to transmit, but it has also added interaction between television program and audiences. Audiences can express their opinion, support rate, and suggestion meanwhile they are watching program on television same time. The new technology in phone and internet make it possible to send text message, phone in and so on.

Admittedly, just as an English proverb goes “coins have two sides”, television also offers a couple of disadvantages which bring some negative influence on people behavior. The young children, who lack of the ability to control their action and ideas, will be the victims of television. They indulge in television program and subsequently refuse the opportunity for communication and interaction among their peers and family. It is very harmful to shape their characters and interaction skills.

In conclusion, with all aspects carefully taken into consideration, benefits on communication from television far outweigh its negative influence. It is rather superficial to simply express that television destroyed communication among friends and family. I am fully convinced that television is playing more and more important roles to accelerate the communication steps among people.
