AWA, TWE: 银线穿玉珠-作文之我见

thanks for your impressive suggestion. can you give some suggestion for my questions:

1. I used to use "first, second" such structure symbols at the beginning of my writing( as Guoliwei said), but my formal teacher and  an editor (native speakers) always delete these words, and I found that there were rare articles in the newspapers or magazines writing in this kind of structure. Does TOFEL need this kind of structure to appeal ereader?

2. my conclusion part is the weakest in my writing. I donnot know how to improve this part.

such words are no good, no bad. or you can use others instead. for example, to begin with,  moreover, in addition.   Actually, i pay more attention to the real meaning for the words. when there is clear 递进关系, moreover is much better than secondly.  but there is no such relationship, not necessary enough to read it.


one of big mistakes that many chinese T-takers make is they tend to play tricks wtih the e-reader, thinking that some structure words can make a big difference in the TWE score. in my guess, these words are important for e-reader to follow your idea, but not so important to the degree that they can secure you a good score without the idiomatic use of words and well-throught analysis of the topic.  


2. my conclusion part is the weakest in my writing. I donnot know how to improve this part.


try to surmise your reasons in concise and different expressions. do not repeat.


although i don't like tricks, there are still some efficient tricks.  for example, synonym.

but, when I write my conclusion, I always feel frustrated because I only write one or two boring sentences. can you give some suggestion, how can I practice to overcome this kind of writing?

learn from others and find what others make conclusion.

我考完G了, 正在准备T. 不知TWE要写多少字才能得5+啊?

看到有的帖子说要写350-400字才好. 不知这个数目指的是机考还是笔试呢?

练AWA的时候,用了模板,不过听说考T就不能这样了,因为没有E-rator,阅卷人可能很讨厌,是吗?

实在对不起, 没有及时看到你的问题。


基本上来说, 5分的成绩跟字数没有必然的联系。 写的多,但是不好, 可能可以拿到保底的4分。  我听说的。


机考就有E-rator.    笔考可能没有吧。
