请教推研信是什么？

城大MBA面试，教授口头说：I will recommend you this offer。有人说这就是推研信。请问推研信是什么？本人是新手，什么都不懂。

面试中，问完问题后他说的，还说尽量在春节前给OFFER让我过一个happy Chinese new year。

估计悬着。有人说是推研信。但推研信究竟是什么呀？都没听说过。

推研信就是面试官觉得你面试得不错，向学校推荐你，希望能录取你
换言之，面试这关你就是过了

Dear Candidate,

I am pleased to announce that your application for admission to the MA programme in Chinese Linguistics and Language Acquisition in 2012-13 is successful.

Our recommendation has been sent to Graduate School of CUHK. Upon their final approval, you will receive the admission offer package (a paper notification package and an email notification package with the same content) in early to mid- February 2012.
